So I made another trip to Hank's... this time was so much better.... went to the rooftop and sat at the bar. The service from the bartender was amassing, my drink has me look to make this at home!! I had the Hanks double cheeseburger and the was the best burger I have had in years! Melt in your mouth delicious, sorry no picture because I was too busy eating.

I dined here from out of town on a Friday evening. My party of four did not have a reservation , so we had to be put on a waitlist which was only a 15 min wait, so not too bad. It was a lot of people in here and the ambiance was very fast paced, and lively. The table started off with the calamari/shrimp appetizer along with the crab dip. The calamari/shrimp was excellent and had really good breading. The sauce that it came with was also very fresh and a good pairing with the seafood. Now the crab dip was a bit underwhelming. I was expecting the crab lumps to be a bit bigger and the cheese to be thicker to really have a wow factor as a dip. The dip was served with tortilla chips which in my opinion kind of cheapened the dish for me, however it did not deter me away from eating it. I ordered the chicken sandwich and ole bay fries which were great. I do wish the chicken breast was a bit more dense as I felt there was more breading than chicken. The taste however was great and I would order again. I did not order oysters ( as it's just not my thing ) but my party were raving about how good they were and they have a special were you can buy as much ( or as little ) oysters for 3.50. For pricing overall it was not expensive in my opinion , my chicken sandwich and fries came up to about $24. And finally the service here was immaculate. Our server was equal parts funny and informative, while making sure we had a pleasant experience. The manager of the night was also kind and hospitable. I cannot wait to come back.

3.5, really. I've been to Hank's a few times and it's always been good. I just ordered take out via DoorDash a couple days ago. I was a bit worried about delivery, even though I'm blocks away, but it seems there was no reason for concern. We ordered the mixed seafood grill, crab dip, beets (cuz I love beets), and key lime pie. The mixed seafood grill had calamari, baby octopus, scallops, shrimp, asparagus, and roasted pee wee potatoes. All the seafood tasted great and was cooked perfectly. The asparagus still had texture and the potatoes -- who doesn't like little potatoes? Note, I'm not a huge potato person, and they were cooked nicely. I would put a bit more seasoning - even just salt on them. The crab dip was tasty and I appreciated the thin chips that came with them. Beets were just ok but I liked them. I dunno. They didn't seem fresh and roasted so I'd skip them. The key lime pie was also just ok and definitely not as tart as I'd like. So, delivery food was basically the same as being there. The seafood is the important part and it keeps being good. Do I rush to go - or make sure I go often? No, but it's a solid choice.

This is the third Hank's location I've been to and, as our server said, the best! We sat up on the large rooftop during a pride event (go Hank's for supporting pride!). The views were great, the breeze was nice, and we won a gift card in the raffle! The food was great. I should be embarrassed to say it, but the cheeseburger is absolutely amazing. My friend got the crab cake sandwich, which was also delicious. But the highlight is the key lime pie! It's homemade and fantastic- save room! Our server was hilarious and fun, and we stumbled across the pride event but it was so much fun! I got a frozen drink too which was just perfect. I'm looking forward to spending more evenings on the rooftop.

My good friend and I went to Hank's Oyster Bar in Old Town tonight just for a drink. The one we were hoping to try was not available, but the waiter and the manager went to great lengths to accommodate us and even comped us a drink. Incredibly helpful staff and very friendly.

AJ , the staff and crew were phenomenal!! AJ went above and beyond to make sure that we were treated with exceptional care. The food was great and I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty, fresh and delicious the food was. The waitress gave top tier service. I rate this location a 10 out of 10. Great work AJ and staff! I'll be back.

Really enjoyed the selection of oysters as well as the oyster po boy. Wanted to give this place a five star review but the lobster bisque was not that good and the clam chowder was alright. Overall the oyster selection here is very good might need to try their other entrees.

I came here for an early birthday dinner for my wife before continuing on with our staycation. It was easy to make reservations, and we were seated quickly and without any issue. The service was decent and the ambiance definitely is good for dates or for small to medium parties. They do have the space to take larger parties, but it could get a little snug. We both ordered drinks, and they were delicious and flavorful. The clam chowder was good...BUT it was more on the soupy/runny side. I'm more accustomed to a thicker base when it comes to chowder. Their lobster risotto was freaking amazing!! Normally, you have restaurants that would skimp out on the meat and put shavings, not here. They packed on the lobster, and I was completely full and couldn't even finish it all! As for parking, there are plenty of spots on the street as well as a parking garage across the street. I will definitely be coming back!
